1/12/2020 I've been told that Grayson, my African Grey Crowned Crane, received a merit award at the "Art Quilts" exhibit at Sebastopol Center for the Arts in Sebastopol, California. Also, he was sold on opening day! I was disappointed that I couldn't attend the opening reception, but distance and snowy weather prevented travel. It looks like an amazing show, so I hope to get there before it closes on Feb. 16. 12/12/2019: I just got word that Grayson, one of my African Grey Crowned Cranes, has been selected to be included in the "Art Quilts" exhibit at Sebastopol Center for the Arts in Sebastopol, California. Only 47 pieces were chosen by a jury from more than 180 entries, so I consider it quite an honor. This will be my first art showing, and I'm really excited. It's also the first time I've ever submitted an entry. The show runs Jan. 10 to Feb. 16, and there's a reception on Jan. 11 between 1 and 4 p.m. If you're in Northern California during that time, please stop by. You can find more photos of Grayson here.
