"Tomorrow I Soar" was created during the Coronavirus quarantine. Since stores were closed, the artist's challenge was to use only fabrics and objects already available in her studio. These include cotton fabrics, thread, string, Poly-fil stuffing, embroidery floss, lace, wire, brass tubing, polymer clay, buttons, beads, resin, enamel, feathers, acrylic paint and various found objects. He is mounted on wood boxes shaped like two vintage books: A world atlas, and a history of New York.
He is 23.5" tall, 11" wide and 18" deep.
He is featured in
Sandra Sider's upcoming book "Quarantine Quilts: Creativity in the Midst of Chaos."
AVAILABLE. $2,800 Contact artist for purchase information.
