International Quilt and Fiber Arts Festival 2022

Three pieces were selected for the Oct. 7-9, 2022, International Quilt and Fiber Arts Festival at the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center in Everett, Washington. ​Included are, from left: "After the Storm," "Ludwig," and "Crystal." All three pieces won awards in the Fiber Art / Wearable Art category: "Ludwig" won First Place and Judge's Choice; "After the Storm" won second place; and "Crystal" won the People's Choice honor.

Intersect Chicago

"Catch Me If You Can" was juried into the Studio Art Quilt Association's special exhibit at the 2021 Intersect Chicago sculpture art fair. 
Cancelled due to Covid-19.

Sun Dancer and Grayson are featured in the Fall 2021 edition of Quilting Arts Magazine. They are part of an article by Martha Sielman, executive director of Studio Art Quilt Associates, about birds in art quilts.

Arnot Art Museum

Desire will be on display Sept. 24, 2021 through Jan. 29, 2022 at the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira, New York, as part of Fibers of Change: Contemporary Quilts From the John M. Walsh III Collection.

'Beyond the Mirror' global traveling exhibition

"Hope" is among 31  pieces selected for the "Beyond the Mirror" global traveling exhibition, which premiered Dec. 3-5. 2020. at the Virtual Quilt Festival,  and in person at the Loveland Museum in Loveland, Colorado, from Jan. 23 to May 8, 2021. The exhibition then spent several months in 2022 traveling to quilt fairs and exhibitions in Australia. Other venues to be announced for 2023. You can also view the exhibit online.

2020 Intersect Chicago sculptural art expo

"Desire" was part of a special art quilt exhibition sponsored by Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) at Intersect Chicago (formerly SOFA, Sculpture Objects Functional Art), which was held online Nov. 6-12, 2020. It can also be seen on Artsy and on SAQA's website.

The Festival of Quilts 2020

"Desire" won first place in the Quilt Creations category of Beyond the Festival of Quilts, the online-only version of the UK's annual Festival of Quilts, the largest quilt show in Europe. July 30- Aug. 3, 2020. 
Another phoenix, "Joy," was shortlisted in the same event.
