Catch Me If You Can
A Roadrunner Textile Sculpture
"Catch Me If You Can" is a life-size roadrunner sculpture stitched together from cotton fabric, Poly-Fil, wire, paint, polymer clay, buttons and assorted found objects.
He is 24" long, 6" wide and 18" tall.
He can be seen online in the Studio Art Quilt Associates virtual gallery, and was accepted into SAQA's special textile-art exhibit at the Intersect Chicago sculpture fair in November 2021 (cancelled due to Covid-19).
He also appeared in the 2022 Birds of a Fiber show at the Pacific Northwest Quilt and Fiber Arts Museum in La Conner, Washington, and at the 2022 Discovering Desert Diversity exhibit at the Herberger Theater Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
